Random moments are handpicked from both his and collective memories and transformed into some strange characters with his unique plasticity. His subjects, real or fictional meet random everyday objects in a savage party or are caught in a moment of vanity, like when posing in front of the mirror, assuming nobody is watching. Or a selfie, only to delete later. Sometimes the figures are dissolving in the many details of space, in the patterns of the wallpaper or pavement. Disproportionate body parts are exceeding the limits of the canvas or on the contrary, they disappear before reaching those limits. What has been funny once, dissolves in the abyss of non-existent eyeballs and what is heavy becomes light and easy in the incompleteness of a simple gesture. What might be ordinary to a level of boring, turns into a flamboyant spectacle. The distance of banal to magical in his works create a strong tension.
